Your role
At Ganex, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining HMI systems for our wind and solar farms. You’ll transform operational needs into clear, intuitive interfaces integrated with SCADA and PLC systems, ensuring reliability, security, and performance. Your work will directly support field teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.
What You’ll Do Daily
► Develop and maintain innovative HMI systems using the Ignition platform, continuously evolving our tools with emerging technologies.
► Create clear and intuitive dashboards that enable real-time monitoring and control of our wind and solar assets.
► Collaborate closely with engineers and field teams to translate operational needs into practical, efficient solutions.
► Integrate HMI, SCADA, PLC, and databases to ensure smooth communication and optimal operational control.
► Ensure the reliability and cybersecurity of critical systems, directly impacting the safety and performance of our installations.
► Contribute to the design of control rooms, optimizing screen layouts, alarm management, and data recording.
► Take part in all project phases — from concept to deployment — while having a tangible impact on operational efficiency.
► Participate in IT and automation projects, broadening your scope and enhancing your expertise in a stimulating environment.
To Excel in This Role, You’ll Need
► A university degree in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role (other combinations of education and experience will also be considered).
► Proven experience in HMI/SCADA development, preferably on Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform (or an equivalent), as well as in HMI system commissioning.
► Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
► Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL).
► Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, IEC-61850, and DNP3.
► Experience in network configuration and cybersecurity best practices.
► Familiarity with virtualized environments and database systems.
