Here, you’ll be the one making sure everything runs smoothly and that HR operations go off without a hitch. The role is shared between two organizations: Groupe Ohméga and Ganex.

Your role

Under the supervision of the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring day-to-day HR activities, ensuring that processes are followed and that both managers and employees receive the support they need to perform their tasks effectively. You will also have the opportunity to manage files outside of Quebec by working with the Ganex team and collaborating with multicultural teams, further enriching your hands-on experience.

What You’ll Do on a Daily Basis

Recruitment and Onboarding: You’ll oversee the full recruitment cycle, from needs analysis to welcoming new hires, ensuring a motivating and well-structured experience.

Benefits and Compensation: You’ll play a key role in employee well-being as the go-to person for group benefits. In collaboration with the HR Partner, you’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of benefits management, monitor group insurance files, and provide attentive, professional support to every employee.

HR Administration and Data: You’ll keep employee records up to date, analyze data, and prepare reports to support departmental or managerial decisions.

Manager Support and Employee Relations: You’ll assist managers in applying HR policies and following up on employee files, acting as their operational right hand.

Health and Safety (OHS): You’ll take part in prevention and training initiatives, monitor incidents, and help create a safe and engaging work environment.

HR Projects and Improvement Initiatives: You’ll contribute to concrete projects that enhance employees’ daily experience and foster their growth.

To Excel in This Role, You’ll Need:

Education: A university degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience. We also value non-traditional path, a solid mix of education and relevant experience can make you just as qualified to shine in this role!

Experience: 2 to 4 years in operational HR, with the ability to efficiently coordinate processes and files.

Bilingualism (written and spoken): Proficiency in both French and English is essential to collaborate effectively with interprovincial and international teams and thrive in a multicultural environment.

Organization and Attention to Detail: To manage multiple files simultaneously with precision and efficiency.

Tech-Savviness: Strong command of HR systems and tools to analyze data and produce reliable reports.

Asset: Knowledge of Canadian (outside Quebec) and/or U.S. employment legislation.

Asset: Previous experience in a field related to our operations at Ohméga or Ganex.
