Hands-on technical work, connected to the field.
Ganex is looking for a practical, resourceful Automation & Systems Integration Specialist to support renewable energy projects across Canada and the United States.
You may bring a background in automation, controls, networking, or systems integration. What matters most is your ability to understand how equipment and systems work together, troubleshoot technical issues, and move assignments forward independently.
Based in our U.S. office, you will work primarily on project preparation, configuration, integration, testing, and remote troubleshooting. You will also travel occasionally to client sites for assessments, installation, commissioning, and technical support.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants to apply that practical mindset to office-based project work while staying connected to the field.
Where you fit, and how you work.
You join a small, expert U.S. office in Grapevine and support projects across Canada and the United States. You work alongside local colleagues, with remote support from Ganex specialists in automation, networks and cybersecurity.
Much of the work happens at the office: preparing, configuring and testing equipment before it ships, integrating systems on the bench, and running remote diagnostics with clients. You travel to client sites occasionally for assessments, installation and commissioning.
Equipment arrives on site configured and tested. Issues are diagnosed methodically and documented clearly. Deadlines are tracked, obstacles are flagged early, and clients trust your follow-up because you know when to act and when to call in the right expertise.
