Your profile

The ideal candidate has a background in control system integration, electrical engineering, or similar with experience in HMI/SCADA development and implementation. You take pride in delivering well-executed, high-quality solutions, and bring a client-focused mindset to every project. Your technical expertise combined with your ability to translate operational needs into user-friendly interfaces makes you an essential contributor to our team.

Your role

Develop, configure, and maintain HMI systems, primarily using Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform.

Design intuitive, real-time control and visualization dashboards for wind and solar farm operations.

Collaborate with engineers and field teams to assess user needs and translate them into efficient and scalable interface designs.

Integrate HMI systems with SCADA platforms, PLCs, and databases for seamless data communication and control.

Ensure high availability and cybersecurity compliance for HMI infrastructure.

Participate in the architecture of control room environments including screen layouts, alarm management, and data logging.

Support the full lifecycle of HMI projects: from initial concept through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Contribute to other IT and automation projects to broaden your scope and impact.

What we are looking for

Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Other combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Demonstrated experience with HMI/SCADA development, preferably with Induction’s automation Ignition or similar platforms.

History of commissioned HMI.

Good programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL).

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, IEC-61850 and DNP3).

Experience with network configuration and cybersecurity best practices.

Familiarity with virtualization environments and database systems.
