Your profile
The ideal candidate has a background in control system integration, electrical engineering, or similar with experience in HMI/SCADA development and implementation. You take pride in delivering well-executed, high-quality solutions, and bring a client-focused mindset to every project. Your technical expertise combined with your ability to translate operational needs into user-friendly interfaces makes you an essential contributor to our team.
Your role
► Develop, configure, and maintain HMI systems, primarily using Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform.
► Design intuitive, real-time control and visualization dashboards for wind and solar farm operations.
► Collaborate with engineers and field teams to assess user needs and translate them into efficient and scalable interface designs.
► Integrate HMI systems with SCADA platforms, PLCs, and databases for seamless data communication and control.
► Ensure high availability and cybersecurity compliance for HMI infrastructure.
► Participate in the architecture of control room environments including screen layouts, alarm management, and data logging.
► Support the full lifecycle of HMI projects: from initial concept through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
► Contribute to other IT and automation projects to broaden your scope and impact.
What we are looking for
► Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Other combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
► Fluent in both written and spoken English.
► Demonstrated experience with HMI/SCADA development, preferably with Induction’s automation Ignition or similar platforms.
► History of commissioned HMI.
► Good programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL).
► Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, IEC-61850 and DNP3).
► Experience with network configuration and cybersecurity best practices.
► Familiarity with virtualization environments and database systems.
